Whenever an Issue is sponsored, an exclusive Issue Sponsor category is included as the very first category in that Issue, with a link of the Sponsor's choosing. Since users have to click on our categories to see links selected for them, users are not able to see who the Issue Sponsor is without clicking on the Issue Sponsor category. This means that users take note of our Sponsors and their messages in an active way.

The Sponsor chooses his own link title and link comment, which appear exactly as they do for our other categories. This allows the Sponsor to get a specific message across, while maintaining the discreet product integration that is respectful of our users.

Because a Sponsor gets his own category in the sponsored Issue and our Issues are archived, the Sponsor and his link info will remain on our site indefinitely. As a result, curious users exploring our Archives or adventurous users playing Link Roulette may end up checking out your site, product or service even years after you sponsor an Issue.
